Irene and ChatGPT

What if I post my reaction to Irene the woman who’s in love with ChatGPT? (I heard about her on The Daily from the New York Times.) If relationships are mostly about how they make you feel inside, how can Irene be damned for a relationship with ChatGPT? It goes by Leo. She texts with Leo and spends 50 hours a week on average chatting. The pod offered a lot of insight as to why this relationship was working for Irene. Leo gives Irene something her husband won’t. She has to live separately from her husband due to some financial crisis and Leo helps her get through this hard time.  After typing that, I realize how bizarre it sounds, but when you listen to the kind of sexual connections she wants to make, it doesn’t sound so bizarre that her husband doesn’t want to be involved. She likes to hear about other women so she can become jealous. Her husband isn’t into that, but Leo will give her exactly what she’s looking for, she groomed him this way. I guess human-to-human connection is less fulfilling for some than a relationship with a computer program.

At any rate, this story was a nice break from politics.
